Make it Your Own: Editable PowerPoints for MiSP Trained Teachers

Faiy Rushton, Executive Director

We are delighted to launch a series of new resources for MiSP Trained Teachers to support you in the classroom to Make it Your Own (MiYO) when you teach .b or Paws b.

Hub members now have access to editable PowerPoints in the curricula they are trained in and we are sharing a new series of videos, with Co-founder Richard Burnett,  Executive Director, Faiy Rushton and Guest Teachers exploring adaptations to .b session by session. Paws b videos will be coming in in the Spring/Summer term.

Why We’ve Made MiSP Curricula Presentations Editable

Empowering Teachers to Personalise Learning

Great teachers know that one size never fits all. Every classroom is unique, and effective teaching means adapting lessons so they resonate with the young people in front of you. Teachers are the bridge between ideas and understanding—they translate concepts into something meaningful and relevant for their students.

When it comes to mindfulness, this is especially important. Helping children and young people see how mindfulness applies to their own lives makes the practice real and impactful.

What’s New? Editable Presentations

We’ve decided to make MiSP curricula presentations editable. Why? Because we want experienced teachers to have the flexibility to tailor content for their learners while maintaining the core structure and integrity of the programme.

This means you can:

  • Add examples that reflect your students’ interests and experiences
  • Adapt for special educational needs or English as an additional language
  • Adjust for age appropriateness or cultural context
  • Adjust the presentations to deliver shorter sessions

Why This Matters

By giving you the freedom to personalise, we’re supporting you to:

  • Make mindfulness accessible and relatable for every learner
  • Create lessons that feel inclusive and engaging
  • Ensure the MiSP curriculum works in real-world classrooms, not just in theory

Our Goal

We want mindfulness teaching to be practical, adaptable, and inspiring. Editable presentations mean you can bring your creativity and expertise into the classroom—while still delivering the trusted MiSP curriculum.
