Non-Contracting Organisation Statement

Mindfulness in Schools Project (MiSP) operates as a professional membership and quality assurance organisation for mindfulness education practitioners.

We provide training pathways, professional standards, and an approved practitioner network. We do not provide or deliver mentoring services directly to individuals or organisations.

Independent Practitioner Network

All mentoring services listed through this website are provided by independent, self-employed practitioners who are members of our approved network.

Each practitioner:

  • operates their own independent business
  • determines their own availability and working arrangements
  • enters into direct contracts with their clients
  • is solely responsible for the delivery of their services

No Contractual Relationship with the Organisation

When a client engages a practitioner from our network:

  • the contract for services is solely between the client and the practitioner
  • MiSP is not a party to that contract
  • we do not provide, control, or supervise mentoring services
  • we do not receive payment for mentoring services
  • we do not act as an agent for any practitioner

All financial arrangements, including fees, invoicing, cancellations, and refunds, are managed directly between the client and the practitioner.

Role of the Organisation

Our role is limited to:

  • maintaining professional standards for network membership
  • providing a directory of approved practitioners
  • supporting safeguarding and ethical practice standards
  • offering training pathways for educators in mindfulness-based approaches

Inclusion in our network does not constitute employment, partnership, or agency.

Practitioner Independence

All practitioners in our network are independent professionals. They are free to:

  • accept or decline work at their discretion
  • work with other organisations and clients
  • set their own professional schedules
  • operate independently of the Organisation

Fees and Pricing

Where fee guidance is published, it is provided for consistency within the network and does not represent:

  • fee control by the Organisation
  • employment terms
  • price fixing between parties

Fees are agreed directly between practitioners and their clients.

Safeguarding and Professional Standards

All practitioners are expected to adhere to appropriate safeguarding and professional standards relevant to their practice.

While we set expectations for professional conduct within the network, practitioners remain responsible for their own practice, compliance, and delivery of services.

No Endorsement Guarantee

Inclusion in our network does not constitute:

  • endorsement of individual services
  • warranty of outcomes
  • guarantee of suitability for any specific client need

Clients are responsible for selecting a practitioner appropriate to their requirements.
