MiSP is delighted to receive many requests to speak at events, however we are a small team and our resources are limited. MiSP will try and attend as many events as our resources allow as we love to share the MISP vision of taking mindfulness to all young people and those who care for them but please understand that we do not have a large enough team to attend every event. Please note we may not be able to speak at individual school events such as INSET/CPD sessions for staff, but we can help you find a local MiSP-trained .b Foundations teacher to deliver the .b Foundations introduction and 8-week .b Foundations course. Speaker Fees

Our standard speaker fee for a public event or conference is £500 plus VAT plus reimbursement of travel and accommodation expenses. The cost will however depend on the travel time, the time required to prepare and the length of the event itself.

MiSP is a registered UK charity and we are delighted to be able to offer discounts for events which are free to participants and where the audience comprises of teachers at UK schools who have above higher than average pupils receiving free school meals, with identified SEN and/ or English as an Additional Language. All requests to have MiSP attend and speak at an event must by submitted using the form below. This is not a booking form and you are not committed to the terms and conditions until the request has been confirmed by us in writing.

Terms & Conditions
1. Any promotional materials should be checked with MiSP before publicising an event.
2. All payments are due in Sterling (GBP) and will include any relevant taxes. You will be responsible for currency translation and bank charges.
3. Payment will be in three stages: a) 50% of the speaker’s fee will be invoiced immediately and payment must be received in full in order to secure the booking. b) The remaining 50% of the speaker’s fee will be invoiced on completion of the event. Payment will be due within 7 days of the invoice date. c) Where hotel accommodation and travel is required, MiSP will book this in advance of the agreed speaking date. You will be asked to accept this cost and will be invoiced once it has been booked. Payment will be due within 7 days of the invoice date.
4. Copyright. The materials used for presentation purposes must not be reproduced or transmitted in any form by any means without prior written permission of MiSP.
5. Recording. No recordings (sound or video) should be made without written consent by MiSP.
6. If for any reason the speaker is unable to attend we will do our best to find a suitable replacement but cannot guarantee this.
7. Cancellation policy. You must inform MiSP by email if you decide to cancel. If you cancel with less than 30 days prior to the event, we will charge 50% of the fee plus any costs of travel and accommodation already incurred.
