This milestone edition focuses on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in Mindfulness, with a particular spotlight on neuro-affirmative practice.
Edition 5 is an exciting collaboration between the Manchester Mindfulness Festival and MiSP. The MiSP family includes educators, parents and carers and, working with adults, children and young people in education, our community is naturally diverse. Our trainers and teachers have a wealth of experience whether as advocates, in education, in mindfulness, in adapting curricula and facilitating trauma-informed mindfulness practice. You will be hearing from some of them at the event including: Chris Alekkou, Esther Ghey, Michelle Harris, Emma Mills and Nicci Trounson. Also speaking are some familiar faces from MiSP conferences including Dean Francis and Uz Azfal. You may also be interested in hearing Dr Tamara Russell and Dr Kelly Birtwell, specialists in neurodivergence.
