MiSP Sit Together

We are delighted to invite the worldwide educational community to join us in a free online daily practice this December 2020. These drop-in sessions are intended to nourish, support and connect us with each other at the end of a very busy school term.

On Monday 21st December, at 11am (UK time), we will begin our next daily MiSP ‘Sit Together’ series. We will run daily drop-in sessions every working day that week. We are also happy to extend the series into the following week if there is sufficient demand!

  • Monday 21st December:                 11.00am
  • Tuesday 22nd December:               11.00am
  • Wednesday 23rd December:         11.00am
  • Thursday 24th December:              11.00am

To be confirmed:

  • Monday 28st December:                 11.00am
  • Tuesday 29th December:               11.00am
  • Wednesday 30th December:         11.00am
  • Thursday 31st December:              11.00am

Each session will last for approximately 20 minutes.

Anyone! Whether you are completely new to mindfulness or already have experience of mindfulness practice, these sits offer a chance to have a daily pause, to refocus on how we can best take care of ourselves and, in turn, of others.

Join us with the children and young people in your care, your family, your housemates, your colleagues or just by yourself.

‘Sit Together’ sessions will be accessed via Zoom – if appropriate, we ask participants to keep their webcams on which allows us to see each other and appreciate being part of a wonderful community.

If you don’t already have the Zoom app, you can download it for free here. Once installed on your device, simply click on the meeting link provided by MiSP at the allocated time, and we will take care of the rest. There is a useful video tutorial on how to join a meeting here.

You can also join us at our Schools Sit Together every half term, and our fortnightly Hub Sits every fortnight.
