MiSP Sit Together

Every so often, we invite the worldwide educational community to join us in a series of free online daily practices. These drop-in sessions are intended to nourish, support and connect us with each other, and everyone is welcome.

WHEN?

Our next series of daily drop-in sessions will take place from Monday 11th January at 11am and will continue every weekday at 11am until February (TBC) to offer support through the current lockdown. Each session lasts for approximately 20 minutes. Register for these free Zoom sessions here:

NB: On Wednesday 20th January the Sit will be replaced with our regular #SchoolsSitTogether at 12pm. Please feel free to join in with this student focused sit by registering here.

WHERE?

‘Sit Together’ sessions will be accessed via Zoom – if appropriate, we ask participants to keep their webcams on which allows us to see each other and appreciate being part of a wonderful community.

WHO?

Anyone! Whether you are completely new to mindfulness or already have experience of mindfulness practice, these sits offer a chance to have a daily pause, to refocus on how we can best take care of ourselves and, in turn, of others.

Join us with the children and young people in your care, your family, your housemates, your colleagues or just by yourself.

HOW?

If you don’t already have the Zoom app, you can download it for free here. Once installed on your device, simply click on the meeting link provided by MiSP at the allocated time, and we will take care of the rest. There is a useful video tutorial on how to join a meeting here.

You can also join us at our Schools Sit Together every half term, and our fortnightly Hub Sits every fortnight.
