Thank you to our fantastic fundraisers!

On Sunday 5th July a number of dedicated MiSP supporters undertook personal challenges to raise funds for our five year appeal ‘A Million Minds Matter’.

This fundraising, which enables us to provide lifelong skills to children and young people, is more important than ever. In this often challenging and confusing world, we want children and young people to learn to be connected: to themselves, to others, and to what is going on around them.

Funds raised help us to provide supported places on our courses, to develop new materials, and to provide ongoing expert support and information to school communities. So we are hugely grateful to the wonderful efforts from these supporters:

A team of five from the Royal Bank of Scotland each ran 10k locally around London and the South East, raising a wonderful £550 between them!
Bruce Williamson also ran in Kent raising a magnificent £500 for MiSP, helpfully encouraged along the way by our very own Assistant Accountant Lisa (his wife!) on her bicycle!
Our .b trained teacher Martin Stammers and his son Ashton got sponsors to vote on which challenge they should undertake and because there was a draw they had to do two challenges! Thank you both for the tremendous baked-bean dunking and head shave, raising a brilliant (and very entertaining!) £210!
Our .b trained teacher Nancy Ramirez ran 10k and raised a superb £140!
Our supporter Lucy Aditi, also a .b trained teacher, ran a very hilly 10k near the South coast! She raised a fantastic £340 and you can read about her adventure here: https://thelifetutor.uk/the-mindful-run-report/
Melanie Nahum run a speedy 10k on an undulating route in Kent in just 57:07! She raised an amazing £1,477 for our appeal!

And finally, two of our supporters ran 10k and are still seeking sponsorship! Thank you Gino Brand and Tom Hollyer – you can contribute to their fundraising here: https://www.justgiving.com/mindfulnessinschoolsproject
