The Chair and Trustees of Mindfulness in Schools Project are pleased to announce the appointment of David Long as Chief Executive.

David comes to the role as an experienced CEO with extensive competence in the fields of charity, technology and business development. In his previous roles, David demonstrated strong leadership, excellent business acumen and the ability to translate vision into reality. His prior experience enables David to bring an outstanding blend of charity and entrepreneurial know-how.

With the mindfulness expertise of Co-founder, Richard Burnett and Director of Curricula and Training, Claire Kelly, and a strong team to support him, we are confident that David will take Mindfulness in Schools Project to the next phase of development and beyond.

Andrew Seth, Chair said “We are truly delighted to have David take on this critical role, we had exceptional candidates to choose from and David’s energy, drive and commitment showed clearly through the recruitment process.”

David will commence his role at the end of January and we very much look forward to introducing him to leaders in the mindfulness field at our conference ‘The Future of Mindfulness & Education’ with Jon Kabat-Zinn on 16th June 2018, details of which can be found here.
